What….?
I know. Bookstagrammers. I was a little thrown off by the title, but they. are. amazing.
If you follow any, you know exactly who and what I’m talking about. If not, let me fill you in on a little corner of Instagram Heaven. Bookstagrammers are a pocket of talented folks that have entire Instagram accounts devoted to books. Devoted to Authors and their books. Devoted to the design of books. If you are an interior designer or graphic designer, these bookstagrammers have a market on eye candy with a very specific medium. Some of their feeds are incredibly curated as far as author, book series, color, and photography.
There is something wonderful about books, in that it’s not just about the content that will draw readers in…its the cover art, and the binding. I will be the first to tell you that if I don’t know the author of a book, the cover art better be amazing or I usually won’t give it a second glance (I know…blasphemy!). The only exception is word-of-mouth recommendations from friends who generally know the type of books I love to read (like minded readers for sure).
Here are some Bookstagrammers you should follow if you don’t already…

ursula_uriarte – Ursula has probably the most amazing collection of books I have ever seen. If you follow her feed, you’ll quickly find out she has one of the largest collections of Alice in Wonderland.

xenatine – Christine is a writer herself, and fellow book lover. I cannot stop going through her feed. oh. My. WORD. YA’LL!

mythoughtsareabook – Haley is a fellow blogger and book lover. I adore her Instagram Feed…it makes me want to read all the live long day. But priorities. Like kids, and my husband.

theloonytuney – her posts are so vibrant and happy! Anytime she pops up in my feed I instantly smile. How can you not? Look at those colors. Even on a dreary day, it brightens my mood.

foldedpagesdistillery – is a group of women who review books (and believe me their reviews are fantastic), and can curate the heck out of a photo. I apparently need a typewriter somewhere in my home…
If you are familiar with Bookstagrammers and know of a couple more I need to follow please let me know! If you aren’t familiar with them, I hope these features have peaked your interest enough to check them out, and I hope it gives you some really great books to read. If you are a Bookstagrammer and want to be featured on this blog, please send me a message. I would love to connect!
*Photos provided by each Bookstagrammer, as noted above.
I don’t know how I wasn’t following some of these! They’re absolutely incredible. I am always in awe of the talent that goes into posing a photo, and I know how much effort it takes. Wonderful blog post 😀
